About the Founder

Nasira Samuel-Chairperson

“Even in the darkest times, love and hope can guide us forward. Life’s challenges are not roadblocks—they are opportunities to grow, lead, and make a difference.”

Our founder of Infinity Inspire Welfare Organization is a survivor, a leader, and a changemaker. Having overcome breast cancer twice and survived a severe car accident, she turned her life experiences into a mission to empower marginalized communities, support abuse survivors, prevent child marriage, and create safe, dignified spaces for all. Guided by the values of compassion, resilience, and service instilled by her parents and father-in-law, she continues to inspire and transform lives through her work.

Inspirational Story of Our Founder

I have faced numerous challenges in my life, yet every struggle has shaped me into the person I am today and inspired me to serve others. Over the past seventeen years, I battled breast cancer twice and survived a severe car accident. Despite ongoing health issues, I believe that God has given me a fourth chance to live fully and pursue my purpose. My message to the world is simple: even in the darkest moments, love and hope can guide us forward, and those who stand for these values can endure and overcome great hardships.

These trials never broke my spirit. I kept writing down my ideas and visions, building on my early experiences as a youth activist. Those years of effort were never wasted—they laid the foundation for the work I do today. Life’s challenges have strengthened me, and I have learned that growth comes through perseverance, courage, and a willingness to act with kindness and generosity.

Role Models Who Shaped Me

My first role models were my parents. Their guidance taught me to face challenges without fear and to treat everyone with compassion and respect. They instilled in me the belief that while we cannot always control life’s events, we can control our reactions. My father, in particular, taught me to remain kind, positive, and focused on my vision, no matter how difficult the circumstances. His encouragement and unwavering faith in my abilities shaped my determination to succeed and lead with purpose.

Alongside my parents, my father-in-law became another source of inspiration. Despite losing his eyesight to diabetes and becoming housebound, he always prioritized helping others and living by the motto: “Live for others.” It was his idea that inspired me to establish a daycare centre for the elderly—a welcoming space where they can socialize, participate in meaningful activities, and live with dignity and joy.  His generosity and wisdom continue to guide the work of Infinity Inspire Welfare Organization (IIWO).

The Journey to Establish Infinity Inspire Welfare Organization

Throughout my life, I witnessed how opportunities were often denied to people because of their gender, education, or economic background. My leadership experiences showed me the profound impact that dedicated and compassionate guidance can have on others. Inspired by these experiences and motivated by the values instilled by my role models, I founded Infinity Inspire Welfare Organization to support marginalized communities, advocate for equality, and empower people to live with dignity.

Though both my father and father-in-law passed away before IIWO came into existence, their teachings remain the foundation of our mission. With the support of my family, especially my brother, and friends, I resumed my work in social welfare, learning from every encounter and embracing challenges as opportunities to grow.

My Commitment

I am proud to chair IIWO and to serve my community. I continue to learn, grow, and lead initiatives that create meaningful change. My life story is proof that perseverance, faith, and a commitment to helping others can open doors to opportunities that far exceed our imagination. I will continue to work tirelessly, with a smile and a hopeful heart, to make a positive impact on society until my last breath.
